The best way to measure body jewelry is to have a caliper. But if you do not have one, all you need a good ruler that measure in Millimeters. Then use the chart above to convert your size.

NEVER compare jewelry to determine a size. Always measure.

The gauge is the thickness of jewelry or the DIAMETER.
And the SIZE is the length between the ends.

For Navel Belly Rings >>

So when choosing the SIZE for a NAVEL RING you are measuring from one end of the bar to the other end. Basically you are determining HOW long the bar is. If you want a very short bar you get size 5/16, then the next size is 3/8, and the longest is 1/2. Many people buy there jewelry from the mall and end up with a size 7/16 which is an odd size, basically its 1mm smaller then 1/2 and 1mm larger then 3/8.

For Circular Barbells and Captive Rings >>

Measuring Circular and Captive Rings, you basically measure the middle distance between, the diameter of the inner circle it creates. And the Gauge is determined by the thickness.

For PLUGS and Barbells >>

The most simple jewelry to determine the size. Again the Thickness is the gauge, and the length is the size.

Ball Size and Standards >>

When purchasing loose balls and beads from us. They are basically fitted for standard 14g bars, for external threading. Otherwise they are stated to fit our gauged rings.

When getting a replacement ball, size 5mm ball is the standard size used in our Dangle and Designer Navel Belly Rings selections.

Replacement Balls for standard barbells of 14g are also 5mm, but 6mm is a good size too.
